Indigo - From plant to pigment: tie-dye and style your own way ENGLISH (Signed)
This is my first book, which I like to think of as a cookbook for Indigo. Co-written with Douglas Luhanko, this book offers seven different preparation methods for indigo dye as well as a chapter on dyeing practices to help you crack the code of dyeing with indigo. In the craft section there are advice on how to make Shibori patterns on your cloth, use the dyed cloth for Sashiko embroidery and even how to make a quilt out of all those blue scraps that tend to amass as soon as you start on your dyeing journey!
The book also contains advice on how to grow three different species of plats that you can extract indigo from, and recipes on how to do the extraction. In short, it is the book I wish I had when I started to dye with Indigo!
