Handbok om indigo book SWEDISH (Signed)

SEK 329.00

This is my first book, which I like to think of as a cookbook for Indigo. Co-written with Douglas Luhanko, this book offers seven different preparation methods for indigo dye as well as a chapter on dyeing practices to help you crack the code of dyeing with indigo. In the craft section there are advice on how to make Shibori patterns on your cloth, use the dyed cloth for Sashiko embroidery and even how to make a quilt out of all those blue scraps that tend to amass as soon as you start on your dyeing journey!

The book also contains advice on how to grow three different species of plats that you can extract indigo from, and recipes on how to do the extraction. In short, it is the book I wish I had when I started to dye with Indigo!

The book is bound with an open spine to allow it to open and lay flat as you are reading it. It has 139 pages and a hard cover.
This version of the book is in Swedish. It has also been translated into English (“Indigo - cultivate dye create“), German (“Indigo - anbau, färbeteknichen, projekte“) and French (“Indigo - teinture et application“). Unfortunately I do not keep stock of those at this time but they are available in online and physical bookshops, so a quick web search should do the trick if you want to find them!
